The Museum of Western Film History seeks a Director of Communications and Marketing to develop, manage, and maintain an integrated, multi- platform communications and marketing program to promote the Museum’s collections, exhibitions, programs, unique events, and to grow the overall audience attendance and visibility.

Responsibilities include overseeing the general business of the museum including overseeing the operational and administrative staff, financial planning, budgets, fundraising and developing strategic alliances with other cultural institutions; creation and implementation of all marketing; primarily in social media and email marketing campaigns.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, strategic, autonomous, forward-thinking individual who has a passion for film and America’s Western film heritage. An individual who is excited to find ways to further the Museum’s mission using their technical and creative skills, and most importantly, to be a “Voice” of the museum in presenting and sustaining the mission of the museum and maximizing the assets of the museum collections and archives.
