SCREENING ROOM – ON LOCATION IN LONE PINE

Filming of “Reflections in Time” began in 1993, subsequent interviews began in 1997. That year Tron Miller began the project interviewing Festival founders Kerry Powell and Dave Holland. Many guests were interviewed over the years with some interviews used in later projects. Additional interviews and footage were shot over the next few years with the version you will watch finished in 2004 and recently updated to higher technical specs.

Tron Miller and his crew have captured the legacy of Hollywood film making in the Alabama Hills. The one-hour video is hosted by Rebecca Michaels and features 31 Movie locations. Tron incorporates interviews with annual guests to narrate their filming experiences. Guests include Budd Boetticher, Ernest Borgnine, Adrian Booth Brian, Ben Burtt, Dorothy Bonnefin, Dale Evans, Anne Francis, Dave Holland, Loren Janes, Burt Kennedy, A, C. Lyles, Chris Langley, John Mitchum, Jack Palance, Kerry Powell, Cheryl Rogers, John Saxon, Ron Underwood, and William Wellman Jr. Tron's crew included Hartwell Miller, LeRoy Francis Jr., Andrea Calabrese , Kathy Wilson and Butch Berry.

Tron is a long time Lone Pine supporter, who has captured hours of Alabama Hills location video as well as documenting hundreds of popular movies throughout the West. He is a writer, photographer, artist and cartoonist for a number of international publications and as a Television technician, Director and Producer for sixteen years, the winner of twelve Telly Awards.
